Dan Comfort
Dan brings a unique and valuable skill set to Floating Homes Portland. Not only is he a fantastic real estate broker he is a certified appraiser of 17 years and general contractor. He has lived on a floating home on Hayden Island for the last 23 years. His ability to effectively calculate a home’s value and pre-determine things that may come up on inspection is priceless. Our Founder – Amy Sedgwick
Amy has been in real estate since 1999, working across Washington and Oregon. Her focus is helping people find their dream homes, which often turns out to be incredibly unique floating homes. She’s proud to be among the top brokers in Portland. This experience inspired her to write a book, “A Buyer’s Guide to Floating Homes,” available on Amazon and BookBaby. She wrote it to help others understand and love these special homes just as she does. Her journey in real estate has taught Amy a lot about what it takes to match a person with just the right home and environment.
After building an exceptional floating homes real estate company and serving the waterfront community with dedication, Amy has retired from daily operations and entrusted the next chapter of Floating Homes Portland to Galene and Dan, who continue her legacy with the same commitment and care.
Amy has begun another exciting chapter in her life with Amy’s Casa in Merida, Mexico.
